This one-day hands-on course covers Architecture, Configuration and Operation of Cisco Intersight, and is designed to serve the needs of engineers seeking to understand the capabilities of Cisco Intersight from a pre- and post-deployment perspective.

AppDynamics Fundamentals

This course is a hands-on, lab-based course that teaches system administrators how to install, configure, and manage AppDynamics Platform instances. AppDynamics develops application performance management (APM) solutions managing the performance and availability of applications across cloud computing environments as well as inside the data center for varied applications.

Docker Fundamentals

This course will introduce you to the Docker platform. During this training, you will understand various topics around Docker infrastructure, filesystems and storage, Images, containers, and clustering capabilities. You will also learn the various networking mechanisms available, tools that leverage Docker to ease application deployment, continuous integration, service discovery, and orchestration. This course will also provide details on networking mechanism available in Docker, Docker Image Management, Containerization and know how to deploy various container-based applications.

Tetration Analytics

This course provides an overview of the Cisco Tetration Analytics™ platform. Tetration addresses important data center operational and security challenges by providing behavior-based application insight, automating policy generation, and enabling zero-trust deployment using application segmentation. The goal of this course is to understand how Tetration works and how it can be used to address these challenges comprehensively, using rich traffic telemetry.

OpenShift Container Platform

OpenShift Container Platform Administration is a hands-on, lab-based course that teaches system administrators how to install, configure and manages OpenShift Container Platform instances. The OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering, which provides predefined deployment environments for applications of all types through its use of container technology. This enables an environment that supports DevOps principles such as reduced time to market, infrastructure as code, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).

Cisco UCS & HyperFlex Bootcamp

This is a three-day engineer-led workshop designed for engineers who will be implementing the Cisco HyperFlex System and are working with Cisco UCS. Cisco HyperFlex Systems combine computing, storage, and networking into a simplified, easy-to-use platform built on Cisco’s UCS Technology. This solution includes an integrated network fabric, powerful data optimization, and unified management that bring the full potential of hyper-convergence for a wider range of workloads and use cases, all from a single point of management. This is a hands-on workshop in which attendees will Install Cisco’s HyperFlex System Deployments.

Introduction to ACI Architecture

This is a two-day instructor-led program with focus on ACI architecture and concepts and is designed for engineers who will be designing and implementing the solution. This is a hands-on course in which attendees will bring up and use ACI constructs to deploy applications on an ACI fabric.

ACI Design and Deployment

This is a four-day instructor-led program designed for engineers who will be implementing and managing this Software Defined Networking solution. This is a hands-on course in which attendees will bring up and use ACI constructs to deploy applications on an ACI fabric.

CECS: Design, Implementation, and Operation of Private and Hybrid Cloud

This four-day, hands-on course covers design, implementation, operation, and advanced configuration of CECS components (UCSD, CloudCenter, PSC). It is designed to serve the needs of engineers seeking to understand the capabilities of enabling private and hybrid cloud.

UCS Director Express for Big Data

This is a one-day course that will walk through the orchestration and management capability of UCS Director Express for Big Data. This course will cover how UCSDE can be leveraged with various Big Data distributions. This course will include lecture and live demonstrations of the product capabilities.

UCS Director Foundation

This two-day hands-on course covers design, implementation, operation, and advanced configuration of Cisco UCS Director, and is designed to serve the needs of engineers seeking to understand the capabilities of UCS Director from a pre and post-deployment perspective.

UCS Director (Non-ACI) Advanced Developer

This three-day hands-on course covers design, implementation, operation, and advanced configuration of Cisco UCS Director, and is designed to serve the needs of engineers seeking to understand the capabilities of UCS Director from a pre and post-deployment perspective.

Design, Deployment, and Operation of Private Cloud on ACI Fabric using UCSD

This three-day hands-on course covers design, implementation, operation, and configuration of Cisco UCS Director in a Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Converged Infrastructure on Private Cloud, and is designed to serve the needs of engineers seeking to understand the capabilities of UCS Director with ACI from a pre and post-deployment perspective.

CloudCenter Bootcamp

This is a two-day instructor-led program designed to explain the architecture and components of CloudCenter. This is a hands-on course in which attendees will learn about cloud deployment and integrations with CloudCenter.

CloudCenter Administration

This three-day hands-on course covers administration, installation, and troubleshooting of Cisco CloudCenter. It’s designed to serve the needs of individuals who have administrative and deployment responsibilities within CloudCenter that include adding users, configuring RBAC, connecting clouds, creating repos, and defining action policies.

OpenStack Bootcamp

This three-day course provides an overview of OpenStack and the open-source tools necessary for implementing a cloud operating system. The goal of this course is to understand how OpenStack works and how it can be used to manage converged compute, network, and storage. This course includes hands-on labs in which you will manually configure an OpenStack cloud and learn about automated deployment options.

Design and Deployment of OpenStack with CEPH

This four-day, instructor-led program is designed for storage administrators or cloud operators intending to integrate CEPH Storage into their OpenStack environment. CEPH Storage for OpenStack Technologies provides an overview of the CEPH Storage architecture and its deployment. This includes deploying the CEPH Storage Cluster (based on RADOS), the CEPH Object Gateway (based on RADOSGW), and the CEPH Block Device (based on RADOS Block Device, or RBD). This course also covers integration with Glance and Cinder in OpenStack Platform and configuring CEPH Storage as a replacement for Swift (integration with Keystone).

VMware vRealize Automation: Install, Configure, Manage [V7.0]

Focus on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vRealize® Automation™. You will learn about the configuration and use of the vRealize Automation platform, including self-service provisioning and the creation of catalog services that include predefined virtual machines, software components, and on demand VMware NSX® networks. This course also covers interfacing vRealize Automation with other systems, using VMware vRealize® Orchestrator™ to leverage workflows, and creating approval cycles and managing machine lifecycles to conserve resources.

VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.2]

Software Defined Access Bootcamp

This two-day boot camp focuses on introducing engineers to the key principles of Cisco’s Software Defined Access Solution. SDA offers tremendous value to customers who are looking to meet today’s transformational shift in the data center head on. Participants will look at various components of SDA, including architecture, policy, and integration to name a few. Participants will also have an opportunity to work on a variety of exercises through hands-on labs.

Splunk Overdrive

This training covers how together, Splunk and Cisco, enable organizations to realize the potential of Operational Intelligence across the organization and gain real-time business insights that create a strategic advantage. We will cover how Splunk software scales to collect and index hundreds of terabytes of data per day, across multi-geography, multi-data center and cloud-based infrastructures. Using Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) Integrated Infrastructure for Big Data offers linear scalability along with operation simplification for single-rack and multiple-rack deployments. To facilitate faster and more predictable deployments, Cisco has published multiple reference architectures for Splunk software plus a comprehensive Cisco Validated Design that provides prescriptive, step-by-step guidance for deploying Splunk Enterprise on Cisco UCS.
