HERNDON, VA - February 21, 2013
- ePlus inc. (NASDAQ NGS: PLUS
) today announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., has successfully completed a quadruple Cisco audit and received four re-certifications:
The results of the audit illustrate ePlus' ability to meet rigorous standards set forth by Cisco in networking competency, service, support, and customer satisfaction. These designations recognize ePlus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support highly sophisticated Cisco unified communications and security solutions. ePlus is also recognized for its investment in the ITIL processes, practices, and tools necessary to provide high-quality cloud and managed services.
"We are proud of this significant achievement. The results affirm our best practices across multiple Cisco solutions and services," said Jerry McIntosh, vice president of advanced technology solutions for ePlus Technology. "We have demonstrated the set of skills and capabilities to enable our customers to connect, communicate, and collaborate, protect their assets, and empower their workforce with the latest technologies. As a result, our customers can continue to expect excellence in Cisco solution sales, delivery, cloud enablement services, and managed services."
"ePlus has made investments to deliver the integrated and customized technology solutions that today's customers demand," said Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco. "Its investments in Master Unified Communications and Master Security Specializations as well as Master Managed Services Certification rank ePlus among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deploy, manage, and support solutions and services for multiple technologies."
As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, ePlus has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving Cisco advanced specializations in unified communications, routing and switching, security, and wireless LAN. In addition, ePlus has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into its offerings and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
To achieve the Master Unified Communications and Security Specializations, resale channel partners must first attain the Advanced Unified Communications and Security Specializations. Partners must then meet a series of stringent requirements in three categories: technology capabilities, sales expertise, and Cisco Lifecycle Services. Partners must possess a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements, provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities, and show evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.
As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, ePlus has demonstrated the ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, met stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and undergone an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor. ePlus was also required to offer at least two managed services using the resources and procedures necessary to deploy, manage, and support Cisco solutions.
ePlus is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner and has achieved Cisco Master Specializations in Security and Unified Communications as well as the Cisco Managed Services Master Certification. In addition, ePlus holds Cisco's Cloud Builder designation and Cisco Specializations in Advanced Data Center Architecture, Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure, Advanced Borderless Network Architecture, Advanced Collaboration Architecture, and Advanced Routing and Switching. ePlus also holds Cisco ATP designations in Cisco TelePresence Video Master, Video Surveillance, Identity Services Engine, and Data Center Unified Computing as well as Authorized Service Provider Video Partner status and Authorized Digital Media System Partner status. ePlus has consistently been recognized by Cisco for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction.
