Solution
- ePlus engaged with the customer in the Assessment Phase to discover the business and technical requirements for the application in scope. This included building an economic model and application dependency mapping.
- During the Mobilize Phase, migration wave and planning was created as well as the Control Tower-powered Landing Zone provided via the ePlus Solution Provider Program (SPP).
- The Migration Phase consisted of leveraging CloudEndure Migrate (now Application Migration Service) to migrate critical workloads to AWS. This also included the migration of the MS SQL database environment.
- Testing and validation was performed to vet the solution and ensure end-customer performance levels.
Business Outcomes
- The customer was able to harness the power of AWS to deploy a secure and scalable application framework in the public cloud giving them the ability to reach more customers and provide enhanced customer experience.
- By leveraging cloud-native AWS security and governance tools such as Control Tower, Config, Cloudtrail, and GuardDuty, the organization has streamlined security and is able to better defend against threat vectors.
