HERNDON, VA - January 20, 2015
- ePlus inc. (NASDAQ NGS: PLUS
) today announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., has achieved EnergyWise Suite Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. This designation recognizes ePlus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support Cisco EnergyWise Suite products and solutions.
The Cisco EnergyWise Suite ATP Program assists partners in marketing and reselling the Cisco EnergyWise Suite to help energy-conscious customers control consumption, save money, and boost performance. The program's goal is to enable partners to market a full breadth of services to turn savings into new network and data center business solutions.
"We are proud to add another ATP designation to our list of Cisco credentials," said Jerry McIntosh, senior vice president of advanced technology solutions for ePlus Technology. "We look forward to continuing to help customers leverage the Cisco EnergyWise suite of tools and services to see what and where energy is being used-enabling them to increase data center energy efficiency and reduce overall IT energy costs."
The Cisco Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Program is part of the Cisco go-to-market strategy for emerging technologies. The program helps Cisco define the knowledge, skills, and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy, and support an emerging technology. As the market changes, an ATP designation may be discontinued or may evolve into a Cisco specialization.
