ePlus Achieves Sun Microsystems
Strategic iForce Partner Status

Joins Select Group of Top Resellers Authorized to
Offer Sun Technology Nationwide

HERNDON, VA – February 8, 2006 ePlus inc. (Nasdaq NM: PLUSnews), a leading provider of Enterprise Cost Management solutions, today announced it has expanded its relationship with Sun Microsystems to earn Strategic iForce Partner status, the highest level of authorization offered by Sun. With additional qualification as both DataCenter Elite and Storage Elite nationwide, ePlus Technology, Inc., the company’s wholly owned subsidiary of integrated professional services and direct sales, joins a select group of companies with this elite status who are authorized to sell the complete line of Sun products across the United States.

Strategic iForce Partner status recognizes and rewards Sun iForce partners that have made the required investment to create a Sun business infrastructure and who have achieved a significant number of core and specialty technology certifications. ePlus’ demonstrated deep knowledge of Sun technology and authorization should enable the company to provide targeted, customer-focused solutions to organizations throughout the country.

"We’re pleased to welcome ePlus to our selective group of Strategic DataCenter Elite Partners," said Greg Stroud, vice president, U.S. Partner and Alliance Sales Organization at Sun Microsystems. "This designation recognizes ePlus’ continuous commitment to Sun technology and excellence in achieving a high level of expertise, certification, and knowledge of our offerings."

The advancement in Sun partner status is directly attributed to ePlus’ certified and highly-qualified team of technical experts, including specialists in the Solaris Operating System (OS), datacenter, and storage technology. As a Strategic iForce partner, ePlus will be able to better serve customers across the nation with superior data management solutions in addition to the full line of Sun advanced technologies.

"Our attainment of Sun Strategic iForce Partner status is a testament to ePlus’ proven expertise with Sun technology and dedication to meet the rigorous qualifications required for this program," said Mark Marron, senior vice president of ePlus. "Achieving this status will allow us to grow our business by working closely with Sun through new leads, joint sales calls, and strategic business planning and marketing activities. Our customers will gain from these resources and our ability to design, implement, and support innovative Sun technology, especially datacenter and storage solutions."

In addition, ePlus is authorized to sell the complete line of Sun storage and datacenter solutions as well as Sun services and warranties and selected Sun software products to customers throughout the United States, including educational institutions in Pennsylvania as a Sun Storage Elite, Sun DataCenter Elite, Sun Service, SunSoft Authorized, and Sun EMAP partner.
