A Low Risk/Low Cost Introduction to Virtualization
The ePlus Virtualization Jumpstart Program provides you with a meaningful introduction to implement and support a virtualized environment. This four-day program includes the installation and configuration of a working VMware environment with one-on-one training from a VMware Certified Professional (VCP). It is designed to demonstrate the functionality of the Virtual Infrastructure suite of products, including ESX Server and Virtual Center Management Server.
VMware’s Virtual Infrastructure 3 (VI3) is a powerful software suite that empowers enterprises and small businesses alike to optimize and manage your IT environments through virtualization. VI3 delivers transformative cost savings as well as increased operational efficiency, flexibility, and enhanced IT service levels. Included are basic virtual machine deployment and management operations as well as the advanced resource management functions of VMotion, Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS), and High Availability (HA).
