How do I get a quote?

Please contact us at recycleit@eplus.com for a quote. 

What is disposable?

Most IT related assets are disposable, includng PCs, monitors, phones, laptops, servers, and parts. 

What information do you need to provide a quote?

We need your company name, contact name and information, and location of the equipment.  In addition, an Excel spreadsheet with the following details will help us obtain the value most efficiently:

  • Make, model, serial number, processors, memory, optical drives for servers, laptops and PCs (some servers may require a more detailed configuration list)
  • Make, model, color, screen type, screen size for monitors
  • Make, model, color for phones
  • Make, model and serial and page count for printers

How much will it cost me?

Disposing of your IT assets will not cost you anything as long as the equipment retains some value and meets the listed freight criteria described below.

How much will I make?

The potential profit depends on the equipment type, the condition of the equipment, and the number of pieces.

Current equipment in good working order and condition will generally retain value.

Older equipment in good working order and condition might have value, it will depend on the configurations and if the parts still have value. If the equipment has no value, we will recommend it be scrapped in an environmentally correct way.

Who pays for freight?

ePlus will pay for freight. Unless ePlus is performing the de-installation, the equipment should be packed, palletized, and available for pick up from your loading dock. ePlus will then make arrangements to have the equipment picked up.

If needed, ePlus has additional technology refresh and packing services available for an additional cost.

Where is it shipped?

The equipment is returned to one of our many return locations throughout the United States.

What happens next?

Equipment with value may be recycled back into the market place in various forms.

However, in the event the equipment has nothing but scrap value, the equipment will be shipped and scrapped in an environmentally responsible way.

How will I get paid?

There are several options for issuing payment. Usually, we apply the credit to your account for either a current order or to be used against a future order. If you would prefer a cash payment, then once the equipment has been picked up you should expect a check within 30 days.

NOTE: We reserve the right to adjust the offer for purchase based on the return quantity, quality, timeliness, and substitutions.

Is my data protected?

Yes, we take every precaution to protect your data.  However, we always recommend that you remove propriety information from the unit before it leaves your facility. The hard drives are wiped with a general 1x pass when they are refreshed. If you would like further data sanitizing, we offer up to 3x (DOD) level wipe with certificate of completion. Pricing is generally based on the size of the hard drive.
