ePlus Technology Achieves Four Cisco Recertifications

HERNDON, VA - September 26, 2013 - ePlus inc. (NASDAQ NGS: PLUS - news) today announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., has successfully completed a quadruple Cisco audit and received four re-certifications:
  • Cisco Gold Partner
  • Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization
  • Cisco Master Security Specialization
  • Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Master Certification
The results of the audit illustrate ePlus' ability to meet rigorous standards set forth by Cisco in networking competency, service, support, and customer satisfaction.  These designations acknowledge ePlus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support highly-sophisticated Cisco Unified Communications and security solutions.  ePlus is also recognized for its ability to sell and deliver cloud and managed services.

"We are proud to complete this significant achievement again. The quadruple audit results affirm our best practices across multiple Cisco solutions and services," said Jerry McIntosh, vice president of advanced technology solutions for ePlus Technology.  "Through our broad solution offering and demonstrated excellence in sales and delivery, we empower our customers to collaborate better, protect their assets, and optimize their data center and network operations."

"We are committed to providing the tools, training and programs that facilitate partner growth, differentiation, and profitability," said Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco.  "With its Master Unified Communications and Master Security Specializations, as well as Master Cloud Builder and Managed Services Certifications, ePlus ranks among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deliver the integrated and customized technology solutions that today's customers demand."

As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, ePlus has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving Cisco advanced specializations in Collaboration, Enterprise Networking and Unified Access, Data Center, and Security.  In addition, ePlus has enhanced its Lifecycle Management Services to include new asset management tools and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

To achieve the Master Unified Communications and Security Specializations, partners must first attain the Advanced Unified Communications and Security Specializations.  Partners must then meet a series of stringent requirements in three categories: technology capabilities, sales expertise, and Cisco Lifecycle Services.  Partners also must meet a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements, provide customer references that document prescribed design and deployment capabilities, and supply evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.

The Cisco Master Service Provider Certification is part of the Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Program, focused on helping partners such as ePlus to envision, build, market, and sell cloud and managed services with business acceleration tools and services, sales training, and the Cisco Cloud Marketplace to address the varied needs of its customers.  As a Cisco Master Service Provider Certified Partner, ePlus will sell and deliver at least two Cisco Powered services (managed and/or cloud services with Cisco Powered services designations), built on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, and provide enhanced management and stewardship practices to its customers.

ePlus is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner and has achieved Cisco Master Specializations in Security, Unified Communications, and Cloud Builder as well as the Cisco Managed Services Master Certification.  In addition, ePlus holds Cisco Specializations in Advanced Data Center Architecture, Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure, Advanced Borderless Network Architecture, Advanced Collaboration Architecture, Advanced Routing and Switching, and Advanced Content Security.  ePlus also holds Cisco ATP designations in Cisco TelePresence Video Master, Video Surveillance, Identity Services Engine, and Data Center Unified Computing as well as Authorized Service Provider Video Partner status and Authorized Digital Media System Partner status.  ePlus has consistently been recognized by Cisco for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction.  For more information about Cisco solutions from ePlus, visit www.eplus.com/cisco.
