Procure+ allows our customers to conduct purchases online, reduce redundant paperwork, and make procurement more efficient and significantly less expensive. We serve a wide range of industries and vertical markets, including:

The Michigan State University (MSU) research university faced many challenges in managing its procurement processes. Its in-house purchasing system, which was running on an aging and soon-to-be obsolete mini computer, had limited expansion capabilities. MSU needed one integrated system to handle the electronic procurement of almost every commodity imaginable, while providing accurate inventory status. After evaluating a number of systems through a competitive bid process, MSU selected Procure+ because of its superior user interface and its ability to integrate inventory, accounts payable, and Web-based end user requisitioning. Procure+ tracks all of the information required by MSU to comply with local, state, and federal regulations. MSU can easily locate information from purchase orders, such as equipment and serial numbers; Procure+ also allow users to follow each order through the entire bid process.

"Procure+ streamlined our entire procurement system, enabling us to provide our customers with value, quality, and satisfaction. Expertise in web-based requisitions distinguishes ePlus from other solution providers in the market."

The Hearst Corporation is one of the nation's largest diversified communications companies. Its major interests include magazine, newspaper, and business publishing, cable networks, television and radio broadcasting, Internet businesses, television production and distribution, and real estate.

Hearst selected ePlus’ Procure+ after a year long due diligence study that encompassed an extensive set of vendor criteria, including the ability to work within Hearst’s existing procurement structure and meet its demanding technology requirements. Today, Procure+ serves as the common purchasing platform for the entire Hearst Corporation.

“The unparalleled functionality of Procure+ was a major consideration for Hearst. With Procure+, we will deploy content services, inventory management, reverse-auctioning capabilities, RFQ management, procurement functionality, and knowledge management under a single, integrated platform. We also were impressed by ePlus’ deep customer base, its long and successful tenure in the procurement arena, and the profitability and stability of the company.“

RTI International was established in 1958 as the nonprofit Research Triangle Institute, the founding tenant of North Carolina's Research Triangle Park. RTI was founded as part of a larger effort to harness the intellectual capital of the area's three major universities -- North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina, and Duke University.

RTI implemented Procure+ enterprise-wide as a hosted solution to evolve its manual paper-based purchasing process to a strategic function that adds value through long-term contracting and wide-scale sourcing projects. Procure+ helped RTI realize a significant, measurable ROI, including a 70% reduction in cost per order and notable productivity enhancements.

"Procure+ directs users to our catalogs with contracted pricing, helping us save approximately $300,000 a year. In fact, in fiscal year 2005 Procure+ helped us save more than $1 million by leveraging our spend with our contracted suppliers.”
