Leave Benefits

Vacation
Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for vacation leave. Vacation accrues on a per pay paycheck basis based upon your employment anniversary date according the following schedule:

  • 0-47 months: 2 weeks
  • 48-119 months: 3 weeks
  • 120 months+: 4 weeks

Regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week will accrue based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week. 

Sick Leave
Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for sick leave. Sick leave accrues at 6 hours per month (9 days per year) for regular full-time employees. Regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week will accrue sick leave based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week. 

Floating Holidays
Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for 2 floating/personal holidays per year. For all new employees, if you are hired on or before April 30th, you will receive 2 floating holidays. If hired between May 1st and September 30th, you will receive 1 (one) floating holiday. If hired between October 1st and December 31st, you will not receive a floating holiday for the current year. Permanent part-time employees working 20 hours or more will receive floating holidays based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week. 

Holidays
The following are paid holidays for regular full-time employees:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the Day After
  • Christmas Day

Medical Benefits

Health Insurance
ePlus offers a competitive Anthem BCBS - PPO plan, which includes prescription coverage. Employees pay 25% of the monthly premium. Health insurance is effective the first of the following month after hire date.

Vision
Available through the Health Insurance plan. (Plan covers the cost of the examination and provides discounts on eye wear and lenses.)

Dental
Dental is provided through Delta Dental. The plan is Delta Preferred Option Plus. Employee cost is equal to 50% of the monthly premium paid by ePlus. Dental insurance is effective the first of the following month after hire date.

Work/Life Benefits

Life & AD & D
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance is provided by ePlus through Hartford. The basic life insurance is 100% paid by ePlus. Regular full-time employees are covered effective on the first day of the following month after hire date. An Employee Assistance Program is included in the basic life insurance package through Hartford.

Optional Life
ePlus also offers its employees the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance at their own cost through Hartford. Please review the Optional Life benefit summary for cost and further details.

Disability
Long- term disability insurance is a voluntary plan provided by Hartford. Employees must work a minimum of 30 regularly scheduled hours per week to be eligible. ePlus pays 33% of the monthly premium and the balance of the premium is paid by employee through a payroll deduction. Coverage is effective the first of the month after date of hire. 

EAP
Regular employees who work 30+ hours per week and their immediate household family members may contact a Hartford Employee Assistance Program counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for support, guidance and resources. The confidential services include a counselor helpline, in-person counseling, discounted legal services and a content-rich website aimed at helping you.

Financial Benefits

401(k) Plan
Enrollment is available the 1st of the month after 3 months of employment. The plan provider is MassMutual. Eligible employees must work 20 hours or more of regularly scheduled hours per week. The deferral percentage is unlimited up to the IRS 401k maximum per calendar year. The employee deferral percentage can be changed on a monthly basis. There are various investment directions to choose from as well as an outside broker window. Investment directions can be viewed and changed by Internet or teletouch at any time. ePlus provides a discretionary match each year. You must work 1,000 hours or more per plan year to qualify for the employer match.

Section 125 Plan
The medical and dental premiums are taken out of each paycheck on a pre-tax basis.

Flexible Spending Plan
Available to regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week. You are eligible the 1st of the month after 3 months of employment. If you waive enrollment on eligible date, you cannot join until open enrollment, which occurs every January 1st . This plan allows employees to set aside money on a pre-tax basis for medical and dependent expenses within the following limitations: $5,000 for medical per year and $5,000 for dependent expenses per year.

Tuition Reimburse
ePlus has a competitive tuition reimbursement program that can help you pay for your higher education. Employees must receive a grade average of C or above. Please contact HR Department for further details.

Direct Deposit
Employees may direct their net paychecks in up to three different accounts.
